Introducing FitBit: FitBit is a simple motion activated device that tracks the movement of the wearer and provides feedback about physical activity, calories expanded, and how much sleep was obtained by the user. Small enough to be strapped to one’s pocket, the device records the internal accelerometer’s activity for interpretation on the computer. At the end of the day or at a convenient time you sync the Fitbit with your PC or Mac and the result is a detailed map and statistic about how many calories you have burned and how much you were moving in your sleep.
